LinKS@Greenland – Leadership in the Extreme
LinKS Advice CEO, Svend Hardenberg just arrived from Greenland, have build a new LinKS program.
LinKS@Greenland: Leadership in the Extreme – where nature and intellect collide and creates new insights
The program is set in the Greenlandic nature, Kangerlussuaq (The Big Fjord) 18.-22. august 2012.
WHY LEADERSHIP IN THE EXTREME?
Leadership is a personal endeavor, where you develop yourself and your senses through the shifts from periods with exceptional focusing, situations of gathering peripheral information and rarely: Times of reflection. Now is the time for reflection through physical and mental activity, by taking part of the traditional summer and fall routines for the native Greenlander – hunting and gathering of food for the winter.
THE PROGRAM
You will be challenged on your own priorities and your leadership through the daily workshops, all staged around the topics: Authenticity, High Performance, Complexity and Leadership.
As a part of exercising the mind and the leadership journey, we will have gatherings every day with presentations, interviews, discussions, and time for personal reflections on leadership. LinKS will stage the discussions on leadership in the extreme related to top management.
You choose from 3 traditional native experiences:
- HUNTING for food (musk ox, reindeer, polar hare and rock ptarmigan),
- KAYAKING, exploring the natural food source in the water (fishing) and
- TREKKING TRIPS, exploring the natural food sources and gathering of berries for food.
Professional guides and trophy hunters will guide you through the activities, and they can also be combined during the program.
Please indicate if you want to participate in the program at info@linkslabs.com
- The charge is DKR 39.000 excl. VAT – accommodation and meals are included, airfare is not.
We would like to underline that if you are in ordinary shape you can follow this program and it does take a Danish hunters’ license to participate in the hunting for food activity, even though this is not Greenlandic law.
